Applications
The soft magnetic materials available from CSC include
the molybdenum permalloy powder cores(MPP cores), High flux powder cores and
Sendust powder cores.
These are used in transformers,chokes,inductors,noise
filters,power factor correction,switch mode power supply,etc.These cores are
supplied in a wide variety of shapes,sizes and magnetic characteristics. CSC's
cores are made from inhance atomized metal powders.
What is Magnetic Powder Core?

Powder cores are distributed air gap cores made from ferrous alloy powders
for low losses at elevated frequencies.Small air gaps distributed evenly
throughout the cores increase the amount of DC that can be passed through
the winding before core saturation occurs.
Powder cores are excellent as low loss inductors for SMPS,switching regulators,noise
filters,etc.
